This is Lake Talon at the pine lake portage put in at the beginning of our Mattawa river trip.(2001)

Please let me know by signing my guest book on the Home Page.

Here are friends after a terribly difficult portage out of Lake Talon into the Mattawa river. It was 450 metres of mountain goat rocks covered with slippery mud. Several wipe outs occurred but luckily no one was hurt.(2001)

This is Me on Ragged Lake. What a spectacular view one weekend in September 2002.

This is me on Ragged Lake on spectacular evening with a view.

Me relaxing with my hot chocolate after paddling into the wind all day on Talon lake.(2001)

Cindy took this picture I call the "Band Shot". It looks like the cover of a rock album.

Mike and I early one cold wet morning on Parkside bay of Ragged Lake. We had a great trip despite our looks.

This is the campsite on Mattagamasi Lake with our rental canoe. Great campsite.(2000)

Me(red hat) and Don on Matagamasi Lake, South-West of Temagami. Rental canoe was garbage. It tin-can folded in the middle and I didn't want to go too far from shore in case it broke in half. The canoe is a little front end heavy on this paddle. Mental note to self: Always put Don in front and yourself in back.

Here I am in a canoe for the very first time. I am the one with the hat. I think this picture was taken in 1979 in front of our island cottage on Washagami Lake.

The "Gates of Hell" on the Mattawa river.

Me on portage from Ralph Bice into Little Trout Lake with my Dad.

Canoe trip in Algonquin on Ralph Bice Lake (Butt). Island campsite near south east corner.(2001)

Photo by Cindy Bertrand with a disposable camera. This picture is one of my favourites. It was taken on Talon lake from the bow of a Swift Dumoine. This was the morning on our second day and the sun started to peak through the dark clouds on what turned out to be a great sunny weekend.
